Since 1982, Hospice of Kankakee Valley has been the area's only not-for-profit community-supported hospice. HKV is dedicated to providing compassionate physical, emotional, spiritual, and social support to terminally ill individuals and their families.
We provide excellence in hospice and palliative care through traditional programs and services, as well as, complementary therapies including music therapy, massage therapy, and pet programs.
Originally organized as a volunteer-only hospice, we now have over 80 paid staff members and over 100 volunteers.
You can help someone in the community who is facing the challenge of dealing with serious illness. Through volunteer opportunities and a variety of giving options, you can help us make our community a more supportive, caring place to live. Anyone can make a difference--especially you.
