Located in the heart of east central Illinois, about 60 miles south of Chicago along the beautiful Kankakee River, Hospice of Kankakee Valley serves patients and their families in Kankakee County, Northern Iroquois County, and Southern Will County.

Interdisciplinary team

Hospice of Kankakee Valley’s team of professionals and volunteers are available 24 hours a day to answer your questions and provide care and support for you and your loved one. Consisting of registered nurses, physicians, social workers, home health aides, chaplains, bereavement support counselors, volunteers, and other professionals like pharmacists and physical/occupational therapists, the Hospice of Kankakee Valley team has provided care and comfort to thousands of patients and families in the Kankakee Valley area since 1982.

Certifications and Accreditations

Hospice of Kankakee Valley is certified by Medicare and Medicaid. We are licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health as a full-service hospice. Hospice of Kankakee Valley is an approved provider for CHAMPUS, Blue Cross, Cigna, Personal Care, and many other private insurance plans. Staff are licensed and registered, many with advanced certifications.
