Certified Nurse Assistant
PM Position with Flexibility
Hospice of Kankakee Valley
is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for a full time position, 1:00
PM to 9:30 PM with flexibility. You
will provide personal care and homemaking services for patients in their
homes or other residence, under the supervision of a RN. Must be certified and listed in good
standing on Illinois
Health Care Worker registry. Minimum
of two years of CNA work experience preferred. County wide travel required. Benefits.

Nurse-Flex Days

We are willing to work with your schedule!
- Part-time
from one to four days per week, including take call within the call rotation” with all
full-time RN’s. Some flexibility on assignment days
possible, based on patient census.
Only dedicated and clinically experienced RN need apply. Minimum
of two years of relevant experience needed, along with excellent assessment,
critical thinking, and communication skills. Must be able to advocate
for patients and their goals, and make decisions independently, yet, work
well on a team. Current IL license, CPR and IL driver’s license

Nurse- Weekend Admit Position

position – Week End Admit Position
- Part-time
Admit RN position for the week-ends.
Normal day position with on-call responsibilities.

Full Time

dedicated experienced registered nurse with excellent assessment, critical-thinking,
and communication skills. Must be able to advocate for patients and their
goals, and make decisions independently, yet, work well on a team. If you
have these qualities and are passionate about helping people make the most of
life during precious final months, you can expand your nursing skills and
experience with a mission-focused hospice—Hospice of Kankakee
Valley…where it’s not just
a job, it’s a calling.
Minimum
of two years experience as RN, critical thinking skills, current IL license,
CPR, community home health or hospice experience preferred. Bilingual a plus
Full-time
position with limited on-call responsibilities. Excellent benefits.
Nurse Practitioner
Clinical responsibilities include education and
consultation for complex pain and symptom management, end-of-life decisions
and advance care planning. Our
patients are served in hospitals, homes and nursing homes. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate
with the interdisciplinary team, including our full time Medical Director and
attending physicians to provide state of the art palliative and end of life
care for the residents of Kankakee
County.
Master’s
degree in nursing and current Illinois Nurse Practitioner license required.
Minimum of four years experience as Nurse Practitioner required. Experience in hospice and palliative care
or pain management strongly preferred.
Hospice certification as a ACHPN and EPEC training preferred or
willingness to obtain these certifications within three years of acceptance
of the position.
